Sheldon is a Community Manager based in Essex County, helping create welcoming, connected spaces since 2020. Professionally, he works in business development and account leadership and co-leads his firm’s Pride ERG, bringing a people-first, advocacy-driven approach to community, grounded in the belief that belonging is built on connection.
I’m part of this community because I believe visibility, advocacy, and belonging don’t happen by accident — they’re created when people intentionally show up for one another. I got involved to help build safe, welcoming spaces where our community can connect, be seen, and feel supported exactly as we are.
Pride Night Out gives me hope. Every month, it reminds me that our community matters, that chosen family is powerful, and that there’s real strength in coming together. I try to lead by shining my light first — advocating loudly, welcoming openly, and helping others feel comfortable enough to let theirs shine too.
