An illustrator, author, educator, and business owner, Rashad’s work focuses on equity and justice. His expertise in fostering diverse, empowering spaces strengthens Gay Social’s mission, and he’s excited to help grow and enrich our vibrant community.
"Gay Social came into my life at a time where I was feeling a lack - and I realized that what I was seeking was a core group of Queer men (and all other gender identities!) to call my own. At the time, I was looking for connection away from apps and online and wanted to get out of my comfort zone. I found an ad for Gay Social, went to the coffee meetup terrified and alone, and the rest is gay history! What Gay Social has given me is not only something fun to do. I've now got a lifelong group of brothers, sisters, and dear friends."
