Joining the board of Gay Social in 2025 is an exciting opportunity to continue bringing people together in meaningful ways. As a designer, I’ve always enjoyed projects that engage people through storytelling, but my passion for community building truly came alive through organizing the monthly Pride Night Out social over the past three years. Watching people in the LGBTQ+ community network with each other and build deeper friendships and connections through this event has been incredibly rewarding.

For me, it’s not just about hosting mixers—it’s about creating spaces where people feel comfortable and empowered to connect with others. Whether we're laughing, celebrating, or comforting each other in hard times, these moments remind me of the profound impact our local communities can have on our lives. To me, Gay Social is a platform to take these efforts even further by supporting events that help people forge long-lasting bonds with one another.

I’m excited to join an organization that values connection and authenticity as much as I do, and I look forward to contributing my creativity and experience to help Gay Social grow as a place where friendships and memories are made.
