Andrew Casano

Board Member, Director of Events

I'm beyond excited to take on the role of Director of Events at Gay Social because it gives me the unique opportunity to help build a space where people can come together, connect, and create lasting friendships.  I’m thrilled to be able to curate experiences that foster real connections and provide opportunities for individuals to step outside of their digital worlds and into meaningful, face to face authentic conversations.

One of the most exciting aspects of my role is the chance to bring community-building to the forefront of everything we do. We all know how important it is to have a sense of belonging, and I am passionate about creating fun events that allow our community to feel safe, celebrated and connected. Whether it’s through casual social gatherings, fun theme nights, or larger-scale events, I’m committed to making sure that Gay Social is a space where people can thrive, meet new friends, and strengthen their ties within the LGBTQ+ community.

There’s nothing like the feeling of being part of an event where everyone is meeting new people simply enjoying each other’s company. My goal is to create events that people look forward to, where they can let loose, have a good time, and, most importantly, leave feeling like they’ve gained something valuable—whether that’s a new friend, a new experience, or just a little more love and positivity in their lives.  I love our Gay Social community and am so happy to share and grow together.
