Alex Valvano
Warren County Community Manager
Alex Valvano, a local community organizer and Warren County resident, found Gay Social in 2023 after a friend pointed him in the right direction, and he's been bringing people along ever since. Known for his natural ability to rally people and keep them connected, Alex officially joins the team in 2026 as Community Manager for Warren County.
"Hi, my name is Alex Valvano (He/Him/His). I'm currently a resident of Allamuchy, NJ. I work as a mailman for the United States Postal Service and do part-time work on the side at The Home Depot. I found out about Gay Social from the suggestion of a friend and started attending in 2023. Since then, I've brought my own friend group into these socials in the hopes of getting people connected. Gay Social matters to me because living out in the suburbs as an adult can make it really difficult to meet and make new friends. As a Community Manager for Warren County, I hope to create a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for people looking to connect with other LGBTQIA+ people. A community to me is a safe environment where people are free to thrive, be themselves, and find a place of belonging."
