Jerry Schmidt, also known as CarolAnn CarolAnn, joins Gay Social as Community Manager for Warren County in 2025. With a background as an actor, playwright, small business owner, drag performer, and longtime bartender, Jerry brings a mix of humor, heart, and creativity to the team. He’s passionate about building spaces where everyone feels welcome, connected, and free to be themselves.
"I’m thrilled to join Gay Social as a Community Manager for Warren County. Hosting Drag Bingo as CarolAnn CarolAnn gives me the perfect chance to do what I love most: bring people together, share a few laughs, and make sure everyone leaves with a smile (and maybe a rubber chicken).
I’ve spent years performing, bartending, and building spaces where everyone feels welcome. Whether I’m calling out bingo numbers or channeling my inner Rose from The Golden Girls, I believe the best communities are built through laughter, connection, and a little bit of fun.
