Karl is a passionate community organizer and the Guest Experience Coordinator at Camp OUT Poconos. He joins Gay Social as a Community Manager to expand outreach efforts and help strengthen queer community connections through inclusive, intentional, and joy-filled experiences.
Community is everything to me. It’s not just about gathering, it’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, and valued. My passion lies in curating shared experiences that welcome all identities and encourage authentic connection. Reimagining Third Thursday as a fully inclusive LGBTQ+ community event began with a simple vision: to connect people beyond their circles and build something bigger than any one group. That mission to expand access, amplify voices, and create belonging continues to shape everything I do.
As Guest Experience Coordinator at Camp OUT Poconos, I help guests connect not just with each other, but with nature itself. I believe the outdoors can be a powerful place for healing, play, and building chosen family. In addition to my work at camp, I also coordinate group travel for LGBTQ Chosen Families, and international luxury wellness retreats that center LGBTQ+ travelers through meaningful experiences. Being part of Gay Social allows me to keep growing this work alongside others who believe in the power of inclusive, intentional community.
