Stronger community-building programs
This year we launched our Community Manager program, giving each event a dedicated host who welcomes new faces, facilitates introductions, and helps people feel comfortable walking into the room. This program has already transformed the experience of our gatherings.

A growing leadership team
We added new roles in legal, finance, and fundraising to build a stronger foundation as our organization expands. These positions support long-term sustainability and allow us to serve more people with consistency and care.

Expanded event offerings
We incorporated successful groups like Pride Night Out in Millburn under the Gay Social umbrella, giving community members even more ways to connect.

Wider reach across New Jersey
We are closing out the year with 87 events, an increase of 37 from last year. Gay Social now operates in 10 of the state’s 21 counties, bringing LGBTQ spaces to communities that previously had few or no in-person options.
